The Miraculous Medal

The Miraculous Medal is Our Lady’s medal par excellence, it is the only one that she designed and wanted, appearing in 1830 to Saint Catherine Labouré. Among others, Mother Teresa was a great testimonial of the Medal: she always carried lots of them with her and gave them out to everyone. When she approached children for a caress, she took a little medal out of her pocket, kissed it, and then gave one to each child along with a sweet!
