A Great Thing Happened

Prepare Yourself for Prayer! Make Paul's Prayer Your Own! "I have excellent news for you to share with God's people!" the Holy Spirit recently said to me. My heart swelled with joy when I heard this amazing announcement. "I am ready to answer Paul's plea recounted in Colossians!" God's words further uplifted my spirits. Examine Colossians 1:6,7,8 and agree with the prayer in the Amplified Bible:You've received it. Indeed, the Gospel is gathering fruit and increasing all over the world, just as it has done among you since you first heard and came to know and comprehend the grace of God in reality. God's grace or undeserved goodness became real to you, and you were able to grasp it in its fullness. I am sure Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, passed it on to you. To us and to you, he is a trustworthy minister of Christ. He serves in our place.
