My Shocked Awakening

A woman’s life unfolds at the threshold between the ordinary and the unknowable in this intimate California memoir. From childhood shadows and mysterious lights to prophetic dreams, whispered visitations, and moments of startling intuition, she grows through family ties, heartbreak, motherhood, illness, loss, and love. Set against desert towns and hard-lived homecomings, her story is both haunting and tender, tracing how grief, faith, and resilience shape a life attuned to what lingers just beyond sight. Honest and quietly luminous, this remembrance invites readers to wonder whether memory, spirit, and those we love ever truly leave us.
