Prophecies of Pastor John

Prophecies of Pastor John is a play about Pastor John, the ‘holy’ Nigerian prophet of the twenty-first century. This volume consists of two short plays. The first play [PROPHECIES OF PASTOR JOHN- EMERGENCE] traces Pastor John’s root, explores how he stumbles into the business of preaching the gospel. He strives to win over enough converts in a country of people burdened by so many problems, and who are always on the lookout for prophetic utterances that convey messages of forth-coming miracles of God.In the sequel, PROPHECIES OF PASTOR JOHN- THE FUGITIVE, the more ambitious Prophet is now bent on realizing his true agenda for going into the business of preaching the gospel.
