Over the course of the patrol, Chad finds and is saddled with the care of a stranded beautiful woman and a rescued young boy until they reach civilization. All the while, he continues to deal with his scouting duties, raiding Cheyenne and Arapaho warriors, and an unknown assassin who’s hell-bent on killing him.
