The Bell Under the Floor

When the Marlow family moves into an old house on Thorn Lane, they expect nothing more than a fresh start. But on their first night, they hear a mysterious bell ringing from somewhere beneath the floorboards. It rings once on the first night, twice on the second, and three times on the third. Soon, the family discovers an old warning hidden beneath the floor: the number of bells must always match the number of people inside the house.

There are four people in the Marlow family. Then, one night, the bell rings five times. As strange reflections begin appearing in mirrors, memories start to slip, and secrets buried within the house slowly come to light, the family realizes they are facing something far more terrifying than a ghost. The house is watching them, studying their voices, habits, memories, fears, and identities. And somewhere inside the house, something is becoming an almost perfect copy of one of them.
