A modern romantic Western set in Texas in a godforsaken, lawless land. The lives of both main characters, Ryan and Faith, are in disarray because of decisions made to cheat fate. Working as a head herdsman, he is subjected to the orders of an unscrupulous boss. Having been objectified, Faith is a woman fleeing from a violent husband. The equilibrium of both will be broken when an unforeseen event has them meet. Can distrust, hatred and thinly-veiled attraction co-exist? What if protective instincts get the better of it? Complicating the situation will be a kind soul. A tornado is about to hit the ground, with nobody or nothing being quite the same again.
