It Is Time Liberians Realize

Every day, I watch Liberians leave the country they call home. For many, departure is celebrated as the beginning of a better future. Families gather at airports, take photographs, and pray for the success of their loved ones abroad. Others leave under far more desperate circumstances, risking their lives in overcrowded boats and dangerous journeys, hoping only to survive and find opportunity. Why are so many willing to leave the land of their birth to build the dreams of other nations? In this book, Morlu Holder examines the choices that shape nations. He explores why some countries prosper while others struggle, and why Liberia's future depends not only on its leaders but also on the decisions, values, and responsibilities of its citizens.Through personal reflection, historical insight, and practical ideas, Morlu Holder challenges readers to think beyond blame and division. This book is a call to embrace personal responsibility, national purpose, and a shared commitment to building the Liberia we all desire.
