The Night Jack & Jill

Three thousand plus years in the future, in a time known as the Jara Era, the powers and abilities that might allow someone to brandish the title of superhero could very easily come about from alien physiology, or by way of common technology. Just like a person from a high gravity world might seem relatively super strong off their home planet, any eccentric sort with a few million credits to spend on enhancements might pull off the guise of superhero, on any given day, on any given world. Of course there are laws and regulations that keep most of this disruptive vigilante behavior in check. Just like the average joe can't buy a tank to drive on city streets, such would be, “superhero tech”, if by no more than price, is usually kept in the hands of larger metro law enforcement, governments and the military.
There are however those times when the perfect storm of happenstance drops super power in the hands of people who have read too many comic books and have too little supervision and forethought. Such is the case with Deslar civil war vet Wayne Godwynne and his girlfriend’s daughter, Naya. Wayne, a modest build man has a nanite composed muscle suit, that made him into a hulked out super soldier from his time in the war. Naya, his girlfriend's daughter, and owner of an extensive comic book collection, was from the high gravity world of Torrey 9. At only 12 years old, off her home world, she was a force to be reckoned with.
